Jamboree On The Trail is an annual day for the World Scout Movement to hike together. All Scouts, whatever their age and wherever they may be in the world, are invited to participate in whatever way they can. Cubs and younger Scouting sections could visit a local nature trail as part of a weekend camp. A Scout Troop might check out a hiking trail while working on badge requirements. A Rover Crew might make a Service Project out of restoring or maintaining a hiking trail. In their own way, everyone will be hiking the same direction: towards a better future through Scouting. JOTT is held on the second Saturday of May each year.
If you want to recieve information about JOTT by email, enter your email address and click "Send"
To register for JOTT and order crests, please print out, complete, and mail the registration form. You can still order crests after March 31; see registration form.
You can purchase JOTT crests from past years.
JOTT has a Yahoo! group and we invite you to join so you may share conversations, ideas, etc. with other JOTT participants worldwide. Join the JOTT Yahoo! Group. (This group is independant of the email list. If you join the group, it doesn't put you into the email list and vice-versa.)
If you participated in JOTT, please complete our on-line survey.
All are invited to submit designs for next year's JOTT crest. Designs should represent the world-wide nature of this unique Scouting event. Why not hold a JOTT crest night with your section? Designs should be submitted on letter-sized paper and drawn with black ink or heavy pencil so that they can be easily scanned into a computer (paints and crayons cannot be scanned). Mail your design to the address below.
